How do you find daily balance? Are you exhausted day to day? Saint Catherine of Siena said, “Be who God made you to be, and you will set the world on fire”. How can you become the best version of yourself? How can you be who God made you to be? It’s all about finding balance and discerning where the Lord is calling you next.

There’s a way to operate even when you have a long to-do list that can increase your freedom. If you have a long to-do list, are you still prioritizing self-care and time to hear God’s voice? If you aren’t taking care of yourself, is it difficult to make space to hear the nudges of God? We can’t really be the best version of ourselves if we aren’t pausing to take care of ourselves

My day started with quiet prayer, Mass, socializing/planning with a friend, and a short walk before the hustle and bustle.

Our bodies are meant to rest. The Bible mentions physical rest, spiritual renewal, and mental peace. It’s the Lord’s intention for us. When we fall off track, we become unbalanced and stop operating from the best version of ourselves.

What does the best version of us look like? Operating from Imago Dei, the image and likeness of God. Confidently, courageously, with clarity, peace, connectedness, curiosity, freedom, calmness, creativity.

How do you find daily balance? I use the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model to help people operate from Imago Dei and find balance. I invite you to continue seeking freedom because that’s God’s design for you.
